Reseller Hosting

Just as the name suggests, reselling defines itself as the hosting undertaken to sell the space purchased, to some one else.  Reseller hosting thus aims at reselling the space for hosting for other customers.  The reseller acts as the middle man between the main server owner and the domain users.

Reseller purchases space from the server as a bulk, and then manages and divide the space to different customers. The plans provided by the reseller might be different as the normal server plans, the reseller has full freedom to   resell the space as according to his needs.

Reseller

The reseller rent out or purchase the server space and services, and then sells over to different customers over a profit. The bandwidth allocated and the quota issued for this reseller is divided among his customers. The reseller usually maintains the web hosting company as anonymous, and projects the reseller website alone, to the customers.
For reseller hosting, the reseller acts in between the server and the end user’s domains, the web space is resold.  The reseller is an agent who resells hosting, the reseller hosting is advertised under the name of the reseller hosting company name alone. The end users do not realize the existence of another web hosting company, behind the reseller hosting domain.

Reseller Hosting Support

The reseller hosting does not expect the reseller to be knowledgeable about the web hosting and the technical aspects. The server support is responsible for maintaining the resold accounts and domains usually, the server technical support maintains the server and the services. The reseller is directly responsible for maintaining and managing the customer’s domain, but any hosting related errors are fixed from the server end. The reseller forwards the issues to the direct server support.  The support will be usually having a different panel via which the reseller user’s tickets can be handled, the emails are reached out to the customers under the signature of the reseller hosting website name.
